Farilya is an ancient Greek word and means "sunrise". Farilya, BC. It is a settlement center on the Bodrum peninsula dating back to 400 years. The present name of Farilya is Gündoğan. In Gündoğan, which has a rich history, there are hundreds of rock tombs belonging to Legler, the first inhabitants of the peninsula. The name of the town was changed from "Farilya" to "Gündoğan" in 1961. Our Farilya Cafe, which we opened in 2020, is located in Gündoğan Bay, which is one of the "Blue Flag" beaches of Bodrum.
