BIOTECHNOLOGICAL TRAPS DISTRIBUTED

Bodrum Municipality is distributing biotechnological traps as part of the battle against the Mediterranean fruit fly.
In collaboration with local village leaders, the Directorate of Agricultural Services conducted the distribution of biotechnological traps to citrus fruit growers throughout Bodrum. The first phase of the distribution took place in Bitez Neighborhood, where citizens were informed about the subject, and over 300 traps were distributed.
Distributions will continue in regions with intensive citrus cultivation according to a specific plan. The aim is to reduce the use of chemical pesticides through these distributions.
