VISIT FROM THE MONTENEGRIN DELEGATION TO MAYOR ARAS
MONTENEGRIN DELEGATION HOSTED IN BODRUM
The Montenegrin delegation visited Ahmet Aras, the Mayor of Bodrum for an exchange of ideas & good practices.
The visit, which took place at the Mayor’s Office, was attended by Ahmet Aras, the Mayor of Bodrum; Aleksandar Stijovic, former Minister of Agriculture, Forestry & Water Management of Montenegro; Maida Gorcevic, former Advisor of Prime Minister of Montenegro on minority rights; Aleksandar Franeta, Chairman of Akademija Znanja; Aleksandar Grgurovic the Mayor of Danilovgrad; Marija Radonjic, Deputy Mayor of Danilovgrad, Jovana Radulovic, the Head of the Local Government Organization for Property & Investment Secretariat; Tayfun Yılmaz, the Deputy Mayor of Bodrum; Emel Çakaloğlu, the Municipal Council Member and Businessman Bülent Kaya.
During the meeting, former Minister of Agriculture, Forestry & Water Management of Montenegro Stijovic expressed the admiration in the name of his delegation for the successful agricultural practices implemented by Bodrum Municipality. Aleksandar Grgurovic, the Mayor of Danilovgrad stated that they wanted to enhance the relationship between the Municipality of Danilovgrad and Bodrum Municipality through joint projects.
Jovana Radulovic, Head of the Local Government Organization for Property & Investment Secretariat in Danilovgrad, mentioned the similar urban texture between Danilovgrad and Bodrum.
Mayor Aras emphasized the importance of the projects "EU Missions Adaptation to Climate Change" and "Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy Europe," and also highlighted the projects implemented in Bodrum.
Following the official meeting, the delegation concluded their visit to Bodrum with a tour of Etrim Village - Bodrum Municipality Seed Center, Lavender Garden, Aspat Bay and Yalıkavak Marina.
